Hey everyone. We're just about finished with Chapter Two, barring any encounters between the watchtower and the shattered temple. It was a pretty fun night, actually. For one, I'm not sure how, but my players actually managed to defeat the Shadows. Apparently, not having any magical weapons or a strong arcane spellcaster, or even a cleric, they were able to use their potions of cure light wounds on the shadows, eventually destroying them. I decided to leave out the journal, since it doesn't seem to help with the adventure at all. The druid has taken ownership over the double bladed sword of the Minotaurs, which makes for a cool image. Another interesting thing was this: When they were with the Mikku, the players decided that they'd buy a camel. Then, after having so much trouble trying to open the stuck petrified trapdoors in the watchtower, they used the camel to pull free the ones on the first floor. Very interesting. They are now sleeping in the tower before continuing on. Any suggestions for the trip across the valley to the Shattered Temple? I've now got a Level 4 Human Fighter, a Level 4 Human Druid with a Wolf companion, and a Level 3 Silvanesti Elf Ranger. They've not yet met Shroud. Miles.
