Are there any players can take before 3rd level?

Sep 02, 2004 22:12:51 Well, you can't take any Prestige Class at character creation. That's assuming you start character creation at 1st level. All Prestige Classes require you to get a few levels in something before switching over.

I've never seen a PrC that someone can take before 3rd level. I'm sure there's something that someone has out there, but I personally don't recommend allowing that in a campaign. The idea behind a Prestige Class is that you are an expert at something, and are highly specialized.

I believe that the lowest level for P Classes should be 5.

Sep 09, 2004 1:16:54 There's a number which can be taken as early as 4. I think the Scholar might be available at 3. I've never taken Scholar on purpose though. I have had a DM who required it.
