I think I'm going to have the players "flash" there like they did during Anvil of Time. Any other ideas on how to insert this into KOD?

The great thing about this Lorac my friend is that I was just talking to TRRW about this earlier today, so I hope if someone has any ideas he reads this thread, I know this isn't any help to you but thanks for posting it!

Problem is, you'd have to insert it near the end... otherwise the PCs wouldn't be high enough level to deal with the challenges.

Then again, I didn't like the Lyceum adventure very much. The best way through it is Hickman Slashing your way through it. I dislike adventures like that simply because they reward characters with the Dash, Run, and Run Faster feats more than they reward creativity.

Sadder still is that it seems my players are taking this approach to KoD. They spent a grand total of 18 hours in any city they came across, running between them as fast as possible. *sigh*

I dunno bout the Hack n Slash style your talking about, I mean when we ran through it we took our time, all be it our Wizard wasted all his spells, but I don't think thats the best way to do it. If people look at clues, i think it could be ran through normally.

As to our group rushing through cities, well, its not like we have much information to go on either having missed half of half the games i don't get all the information, so they are like we are here we need to be here, so I say ok... why? they all tell me they don't know, so I say well then... we'll just kill things until we figure it out. Cause no one ever seems to have an idea of what we are looking for so its plan B. But I will attempt to slow everything down next week and figure out what is going on, cause frankly its frustrating that I don't have a clue whats going on.

actually, TRRW, that was just the way we played it. the second time around that i played it, my group learned that there is a lot more to the place than how we did it =)
