#2gabSep 08, 2004 7:39:49 | I've had a character generator on my website for a couple of years now, though the link was hidden because of OGL concerns. http://personal.nbnet.nb.ca/shadows/Handbook/DSNPC.html |
#3GrummoreSep 09, 2004 18:40:13 | I've had a character generator on my website for a couple of years now, though the link was hidden because of OGL concerns. It's probably not in 3.5e? Would it be possible to modify your code to Darksun athas.org 3.5e ? Maybe someone else if you do not have the time? |
#4NefalSep 11, 2004 6:10:31 | I think the "Heroforge" generator (check at http://home.san.rr.com/blackbart/main.html) is particularly good... would it be possible to adapt it to 3.5 DS? I have personaly no idea how to program it... |
#5flipSep 24, 2004 14:09:21 | For that matter, if PCgen (pcgen.sourceforge.net) would ever get finish with the conversion to using XML source files .... I've got no desire to deal with their .lst format, but I'm up to my neck in XML for my job, so dealing with that format is no problem for me. |
#6xlorepdarkhelm_dupSep 24, 2004 15:50:08 | I totally agree, been waiting for the PCGen's XML conversion to be done. I'll be all over that like butter on bread when they get that done. |

#8xlorepdarkhelm_dupSep 26, 2004 14:13:28 | heh.... Personally, I think there's both pros and cons to a computer-operated RPG, speciically for character generation and the such, as I've seen that when doing that, it does tend to put the focus more on stats and less on concept/development, if not watched carefully. |
