#1zombiegleemaxSep 08, 2004 18:35:42 | First off, I just want to say great job to the team that put together the BoK! Excellent job! Second, I know, I'm a little behind on my books :P Now all I need to get is a copy of ToHS and I'll be caught up. Finally! I was going to get that today, but neither of the stores that carried DnD books had it stocked and both said that they couldn't order it *sighs* Third, I remember hearing the mentioning of the stats of the Dreadwolves (from The Legend of Huma) being in the book, I was really interested in seeing these stats because at the moment, I'm reading that book and would be interested to see atleast a better idea of what they looked like. I couldn't find it in the Table of Contents, and was just curious if I bypassed it, if it isn't in there, or if it is simply a template that you would add to a wolf? If you can find any of these answers could you please point me to the page number? THANKS! Once again excellent job to the team... I really like how the pages feel too... *drools* NOOO!! NOT ON MY BoK!!! *sighs* haha |
#2zombiegleemaxSep 08, 2004 19:15:22 | that is true, where are the stats for the dreadwolves? |
#3iltharanosSep 08, 2004 19:53:18 | Sorry Loren, I don't think it's statted out anywhere, at least not officially. Fanwise, I believe there's a dreadwolf over on Dragonlance Nexus. |
#4zombiegleemaxSep 08, 2004 19:56:23 | Aww man! Oh well, still an awesome book, glad I bought it! Thanks Iltharanos! |
#5wolffenjugend_dupSep 08, 2004 21:01:38 | Actually, they were statted out in an old Dragon magazine. |
#6DragonhelmSep 08, 2004 21:05:48 | As I mentioned on the DL.com boards, Towers of High Sorcery has a dread beast template, which can be used to create dreadwolves. And if there is an old Dragon article on them, I'd love to know what issue! |

Page 142 of the Towers of High Sorcery sourcebook. And if there is an old Dragon article on them, I'd love to know what issue! It's in issue 174, in an article called "Cry Wolf!" by Tim Malto. I used it for inspiration when working up that template. Of course, the sample dread creature provided in ToHS is an ape, but applying it to a wolf is a piece of cake. Cheers, Cam |

My local comic/gaming shop has a bunch of old Dragons, so I'll see if they have it. |
