#1glennlSep 14, 2004 15:34:16 | Hi Guys, I haven't been on in a while but I was working on my current campaign which is set in Keoland but moves over into Sterlich, the Ulek's, and the Pomarj. I heard some time ago about an upcomming Dungeon Magazine which has an adventure in it about the city of Istvin. Does anyone know which # it is? I think it was #117 but I am not sure. Also, is it out yet? I have never used Dungeon before and so I am not sure if it is any good. I have tied all the old Blue 3.0 Modules together and I am looking for some more filler adventures to advance the story and the character levels. They have resently visited Istvin where they heard rumors about the Marquis so I would love to see what is in the adventure. Second question. Back in the old days I remember a reference to a city high within the Lortmil Mountains where Stone Giants and Halflings lived together and were protected by an artifact of some sort but I can't remember its name, although I think it started with an E? Can anyone help? I am trying to include it in my story and connect it with the new Goliaths but I can't seem to find the reference or any information. Any help on either issue would be great. |

Istivin, used as a backdrop for this module, is described in issue #117. And, no, it's not out yet but should be within two months since the current Dungeon issue is #115. As for the halflings/stone giants city, it's called Esmerin. It was described p.101-102 in the Greyhawk Adventures hardcover that updated WoG from 1E to 2E. |

#5grodogSep 19, 2004 2:24:32 | From Jason Zavoda's index:Esmerin [KNG] |
#6zombiegleemaxSep 20, 2004 0:06:45 | Rasgon had a bit about the Infinite Staircase and Esmerin. I can't find it immediately, however. IIRC, a devil who drank deep of the River Lethe was featured... |
#7glennlSep 21, 2004 9:10:24 | You guys are great! :D I found my Greyhawk Adventures book but I was wondering , Grodog, what is TAB? Sorry I am not up on the Jargon. Wait, is it Tome and Blood? Thanks. |
