Sep 24, 2004 16:23:50 IMHO Strahd is beyond redemption. The only way for him to take the way out would be to - somehow - implement the "final solution" of the original I6 module.

Translated to current 3.5 RL, that would mean finding the reincarnation of Sergei, give him back his famous sunsword & holy symbol, and let the "brothers" fight it out once and for all.

'course, I wouldn't bet a copper on Sergei...

You know, I just thought of something. What if Strahd finally managed to get his hands on a live, healthy reincarnation of Tatyana only to find out she has taken the Unwholesome Ichor feat (CoD) :heehee

You mean beg Sergei's forgiveness? Last I know, it wasn't Sergei who murdered his brother in cold blood.

Sergei _has_ forgiven Strahd, to all appearances. Strahd needs to let go of his irrational jealousy for his younger brother.

Sep 26, 2004 5:49:49 Well, not much to offer you here, but I think of a dread possibility in Gaz3. It deals with the I10 module, and I have to admit I kinda liked it. It states that when Strahd used the Apparatus(sp?) his "good self" didn't perish, but wanders the realm(s) alone and tormented. Major ideas are the pcs getting Mordenheims help to build another apparatus for them (dealing with the devil anyone :D ) or just getting each "Strahd" to confront each other. After they merged though it yould be possible for Strahd to ask for atonement for his sins from Sergei. Even finding his own Tatyana...

Just my 2 cps...
