#1zombiegleemaxSep 25, 2004 6:31:32 | There is this bounty hunter fighter of supreme fighting skills and a close relationship with fire -due to his magical sword and his brother's fire spirit (pyre elemental) that posseses it- . He is extremely self confident almost arrogant, not afraid of anything not supernatural, quite greedy too, has too much pride and is very easily angered and provoked, not wise but intelligent. He can do a lot of things with fire, and he is the kind of man who takes on several personal quests (revenge, hunting criminals or foes, searching for his brother-past) travelling a lot but he lacks introspection, heart-searching because he's afraid of settling or finding out he's empty and cruel inside.. So, if you have any ideas about a path to darkness (the power checks' one) please let me know.I've thought about a couple (one related with fire) but i've figured much better for the other characters and i don't want him to have anything less.Consider pyromaniac, vengefullness ideas and such. If you want me to, I can write down his personal background (he doesn't know 90% of it) but it's quite long and i didn't want you to get bored or something so..well..any ideas Thanks |

I don't remember discussing this matter, but I do recall telling you that the most important thing on each path is the fallen power checks themselves. Could you do me a favor and state the cases in which your PC failed his power checks? Each case gives you a better judgement because of recurring themes. If many of his checks come from the same source of misconduct, then you have something to work with. Btw, if you're free Tetarti brady 8a mazeutoume na teleiwsoume tous xarakthres. Alliws opote mporeis (tetarth, pempth h kai paraskeuh. oxi pio prin, sorry!!) One last question, goes to everyone on these boards. Do you prefer the swift 3rd edition paths of Corruption or the longer 2nd ed. ones?? Cheers!! P.S.: To prwto tragoudi sto signature sou einai to omwnumo, to Skyclad. To allo apo pou einai? Nomizw Jonah's Arc?? |
#3zombiegleemaxSep 26, 2004 16:08:54 | Well, Haryosto Von Rilkamar (his name) has only one failed power check, having been lucky enough to elude their grasp about 4-5 times in the game. He was tricked into burrying his own father alive and it was too late whe he realized it..It would require quite an extensive report on the plot to understand the reason, momentum and sentiment of the case and explain why it was an *automatic* failed power check. It was one of the best power checks i've ever witnessed and created-it's true(including even the darklords' own stories,if i'm not being blasphemous! As for the 3rd-2nd edition rules about paths, well i'm a fan of the 2nd edition rules in general but i haven't read the 3rd ed paths yet,so i can't really say. Kalws palikari, tha ta poume tetarth,ta lyrics einai apo to wayward sons of mother earth,to omonymo..! :D |

#5zombiegleemaxSep 28, 2004 12:24:58 | Temptation with doing evil for a good reason is always great. I have done that in a Dragonlance campaign during one of the Tests of High Sorcery that I gave and the wizard fell. |
