The Rajaat or Rajaat.700 virus was received in January, 1995. Its origin or point of isolation is unknown.

In a Dark Sun fan's home computer, that's where!

i remember reading an interview of some guy from back in the day. he was a hacker and had made several virii and worm programs, and they were all named after the various champions, ie tectuktitlay and andropinis and all the rest.

virii

Wouldn't the plural of "virus" be "viri"? It may be awhile since I last read latin, but I'm quite sure here.

Actually ...

Viri means "men" in latin (Vir being the singular or "man). You can find the answer here

Just to add complexity to the issue: virii is actually the correct plural form when referring to a collection of computer viruses, because in this case the correct form is the specialized jargon developed to reference this specific contextual usage of the word.

However, since it doesn't follow either the Latin conventions for pluralizing words, or the English conventions for the same, the debate arises about the "correctness" of such a development and the following use of it.

Isn't language fun?
