#1chimpmanOct 05, 2004 10:36:56 | Hi all, I've stopped getting e-mail notification when someone replies to a thread that I'm subscribed to. Has anyone else also noticed this? Is there a setting somewhere that I am not aware of that may have been changed by mistake? This started happening yesterday or the day before. Thanks to anyone who can clear this up for me. -John |
#2stanlesOct 05, 2004 14:44:51 | Hi all, I checked my settings yesterday when I noticed the same thing. I still had things set the way I wanted but no messages. |
#3CthulhudrewOct 05, 2004 16:47:34 | I'm still getting messages, but I noticed that sometimes my mailbox sends them to the SPAM folder, rather than my inbox. Don't know why that happens... |

That has something to do with your spam filter. Depending on what program or email provider you are using, you should be able to adjust it to always accept emails from WotC as non-spam. About why the notice emails don't work for some people, I don't know. I turned that function off because it was filling up my inbox at a time when this board was particularly active. Håvard |

#6chimpmanOct 06, 2004 10:32:56 | Darn, I didn't even think of that. I'll check my spam folders, but I don't think that is the problem. I have filters set that should re-direct Wizo messages to a particular folder. If it turns out to be the spam settings, I'll let you know. That seems unlikely considering other people have the same problem. I'll try and PM one of the Wizos to get an answer. |
#7chimpmanOct 06, 2004 15:37:58 | I PMed one of the Wizos and now my notification seems to work again (at least i just got one). No response back from the wizo so I don't know what exactly happened. Let's see if it keeps working... |

Depending on what program or email provider you are using, you should be able to adjust it to always accept emails from WotC as non-spam. What's weird is that only some of the messages end up in the SPAM folder; others don't. I think it's about 50/50. |

#10chimpmanOct 07, 2004 9:33:13 | Well, it was definately not a spam problem for me. I checked this morning and all wizo posts are going where they are supposed to. On the plus side I'm actually getting notices again, so whatever was broke must be fixed... |
