Oct 16, 2004 18:11:46 I'm trying to use the adventure included in Dungeon #110 in my campaign, but I see an item listed that I have no reference for. The author has several of the elves carrying something called a "tattoo of animal affinity" and another one called "tattoo of concealing amorpha".

They are listed as posessions that the characters are carrying. Am I blind, or are these items not described in that book? I've looked thru several other source books and haven't come across anything describing them.... any help here?? Thanks!

In Dark sun, where psionics are more common than pretty much anything else, including water? I'd think they'd be pretty common knowledge. And they can't get too powerful, so why not?

I'd say the non-psionic in your example would know enough to suspect that the elf's tattoos may be psionic. However, I'd say it would require someone with either Psicraft or Knowledge: Psionics to definitely confirm if the tats were psionic or not. Thats on a sucsessful skill check of course :D
