#1max_writerOct 19, 2004 8:26:08 | Hi all, I could use some help. I’m running a Greyhawk game and the group has just gotten to western Sterich from the Crystalmist Mountains. They're presently in a halfling village called Lazy Hollow. One of the players threw the elf mage in the group a surprise birthday party (he's 133) and invited everyone from the local halfling villages to come. About 300 to 350 halflings showed up (the enticement of free food and beer helped) and some of them brought presents for the elf mage. I would like to get together a list of presents he recieved. None of them would be very expensive and any magic would have to be very low-powered for the halflings to be willing to give it up to a complete stranger (though there are a few NPCs that will also be giving gifts so low-power magic ideas are welcome). Anyone have any ideas? I could use a good-sized list. Thanks, Andy |

Got couple for ya! *An ancient coin for a land or kingdom that is no longer in existence! You can decide copper, silver or gold. (Maybe old Vecna coinage? ooooo scary.... cursed maybe?) *Magical -1 Dagger (actually Scott W's idea) *The world's greatest skipping stone (Really a rock picked up on the way, so that the halfling wouldn't feel he didn't get the stranger something) *a small wooden sundial that fits like a wrist watch *small stained glass window to hang in your window. *A blank journal (could be a spellbook) *An ivitation to celebrate his birthday in Lazy Hollow again next year. *A tin of peanut brittle *A broken compass that has a fabulous story (true story or not nobody knows) Ok, that is all i can think of right now. Can't wait to see what else makes this list. |
