Oct 25, 2004 2:58:18 I'm having trouble logging on to BRCS so I'm posting this here in the wilderness. Is the second draft of the BRCS finished? Or the Atlas? I've downloaded the playtest (which I think is quite good if my opinion counts )

Oct 26, 2004 11:36:24 Br net has been havign some server problems for the past week.

The owner of the server is aware of them and is working on them.

To answer the question no.

Chap 2 has been sanctioned and you can download a copy from the BR.net once it comes back up. It is considered "Official" since it has been sanctioned.

Chap 1 is almost sanctioned. Everything except the noble class, skills, feats and equipment have been sanctioned in it.

Once the boards come back up I'm going to post the complete version of Ch 1 for a last round of comments and hopefully a sanctioning vote within the next 2 weeks.

The decision was made to attempt to handle the BRCS a chapter at a time and get them sanctioned that way in order to have a focus on getting things done.

The next chapter being worked on is the domain rules one - with lots of polls and discussion ongoing.

As far as the Atlas goes - I don't know what it's exact status is. They team was going to post the first region - Southern Anuire (IIRC) for discussion soon. But they said that a while ago.

They could be waiting for a 'final' determination of the noble class before wrapping up the first draft. I can understand that since it is a class tht could have major impact on how the regents are portrayed.

As far as the BRCS goes there will not be another complete draft until all of the chapters have been sanctioned then the entire BRCS will be issued.

If only I could get my group to play. Was on the verge of a game when they backed out in favour of Dragonlance.

:OMG! The infamous Concord Diplomat/Mindwalker and his companions. I was reading the story a while back, it's great really sounded like you had fun with it. Unfortunately my computer died and I forgot all about it, thanks for the reminder I'll have to read the finish.

Infamous? ;) I thought we were playing the good guys (and gal).

Game has been completed since August so the total story can be read now - enjoy it is really well written. Neil is outstanding in his game design.
