While I won't use things straight out of the book it's great for an idea mine. I adored 'The Maze' among other planes in the book. They'd work great as domains on the planes of the Great Wheel or as demiplanes unto themselves. I'll eventually get around to writing up my glowing opinion of the book and those planes which I adored, which I liked, and which I thought the least of the batch. Overall I'd give it an 8.5 or 9 out of 10 at this point. It's inspired, something that none of the latest WotC books have managed (with the exception of some of the FR material which has continued to be of very high quality). |
