These trees have huts built within the foliage, but of course, nothing like the Sunlight Home. These trees are called Daga-faries, or "home-of-a-people-in-the-agafary-tree". They are tended by the Ambo-fary(sp?), who knows the family's history and helps those of his people in needs of grain, shelter or whatever. Q1. Does one people have only one Dagada assigned to it, or can there be many? Q2. Where are the Daga-faries? Inside the peoples dagada, or in some grove elsewhere in the city? P.S. I know I can make it whatever I want it to be, just wanted your thoughts! |

#4lurking_shadowNov 22, 2004 20:48:39 | Q1: PeaceBringer, I believe that the members of a People are actually spread through many dagadas, and that a single dagada may include members of several Peoples. I recall reading that the average gulg is only affected by his/her People in situations like funerals and such, not in day-to-day life. Q2: My first guess would be that the daga-faris lie outside of any dagadas so as to not hinder members of a People that dwell in different dagadas from visiting their house-tree and its ambofari. However, I've recently came across an image from the Asticlian Gambit's Players Book that looks like a daga-faris in the middle of a dagada. I'd rule, then, that all possibilities coexist: some daga-faris are grouped in groves spread through the city, some are within dagadas and that some simply jut from the middle of the street. My players are likely to visit Gulg pretty soon, so I've been researching a little bit. Hope that helps. Lurking Shadow |
