#2zombiegleemaxNov 15, 2004 17:08:04 | Alright, I dunno where you'd put Metal in the planes so I'll just make all possible convergences... Metal + Air - Glitter :D Metal + Water - Quicksilver Metal + Fire - Slag Metal + Earth - Ore Metal + Positive - Treasure Metal + Negative - Rust |

The plane of Alcohol, or Firewater, is between the elemental planes of Water and Fire. The negative quasielemental planes are Ash, Rust, Fungi, Dust, and Salt. The positive quasielemental planes are Radiance, Sparks (lightning), Flowers, Minerals, and Steam. |

Heat represents the warm breadth of life while chill represents the cold of undeath. In the center is blood, the river of existence. Fuel for undead and living alike. Its just an idea, however. (Probably best utilized in an Arctic setting where Cold and death are synonymous while Fire and life are also equated). |

I was thinking a Japanese-style plane setup (Air, Earth, Fire, Metal, and Water, where Metal has no opposite). So, having elemental meetings with all four planes sounds about right. A typical Oriental setup (Earth, Fire, Metal, Water, Wood; Metal and Wood are opposites, Earth has none) would probably make use of all of those but Glitter (since there's no Air) and the paraelemental planes on the thread for Wood, except that Pollen wouldn't be used. So, Glitter, Ore, Slag, Quicksilver, Treasure, and Rust it is! Thanks for the help! |
