I guess it would be pretty easy to write one up if one doesn't exist. There was one in the Planescape Monstrous Compendium, Vol. 2. A complete list of all the 1e and 2e planar monsters was in the PSMC, Volume 3, but it wasn't divided by plane. There's a chart in the back of the Planar Handbook for 3e, but it's incomplete and it has errors. |
#3weenieDec 16, 2004 18:22:28 | I thought about making a set of random encounter lists using the index in Seraph of Babel's PS Monster Conversion topic, but new conversions seem to crop up all the time, so I've put it on hold until the process is finished. BTW, I've never used a random encounter table in my life. I always had an idea what kind of creature I'd like the PCs to encounter "randomly" ... |

Well when that time comes, maybe I can give a hand and include monsters from the non PS monster manuals also. I noticed the entries in the PS books that ripvanwormer pointed out (including the Planar Handbook) don't include the typical monsters like Kobolds (on Baator), Drow (Ysgard and Abyss), ect ect from the traditional settings. Like you, I don't really use a random encounter chart. I pick and choose. But I'd like a nice list of everything that inhabits each plane so I can see exactly what my options are |
