Dec 20, 2004 17:23:34 Some of the action in the Gary Gygax novel Sea of Death also takes place in the Forgotten City - at least the City as Gary thought of it. There are probably dozens of different versions of the City out there by now. I mean, it's a location that just cries out to be written up.

(Although - I always thought Weehauken, N.J. was the Forgotten City. Oh well. Live and learn.)

The New Infinities novel 'Sea of Death' has some detail on the city and its inhabitants. Written by Gygax the flavor of the text is pure 1st edition AD&D & Greyhawk. For me this is what the Greyhawk campaign is all about, but it is not to everyones taste.
