Children of the Alligator?

As part of my Atruaghin Clans development, I'm working on the idea that a group of Atruaghin live in the Tenobar borderlands territory of Darokin, mostly in and around the western edge of the Malpheggi Swamp, but some have been incorporated/absorbed more or less into mainstream Darokin- the so-called "civilized" tribes of Atruaghin.

The "Children of the Gator" will be more or less based around the Creek indians of the SW USA. I figure the conflicts in the Tenobar region would be in many ways similar to those conflicts between native american tribes and colonists- although much less one-sided, as there are no guns and the Atruaghins should have roughly the same resistance to diseases as the borderlanders would. Things are probably settling down somewhat since the founding of the Republic in 927- the DDC would move to settle conflicts in probably a more decisive manner than the early USA administrations- but because the region is borderland (and full of petty dominions), it would still be tense.

I'm having trouble structuring my thoughts on presentation, however, so if anyone has any suggestions about what sorts of things I could detail, or there is anything you might like to see out of such a presentation, I'd love to get some ideas.

I'd probably use the same format as in the Atruaghin gaz, if for no other reason than "because". ;)

Glad to see you doing more for the Clans, they have a lot of potential that's not always easy to see. And I love this Gator Clan concept.

I'm sorry, but I saw this topic and immediately thought that the Gaz would be narrated by a Darokinian ranger in khaki leathers and a floppy hat, with a really big mouth and a Glantrian research crew entourage.

"Now this 'ere's one of them At-roo-ag-hin Clansmen blokes! Ya gotta be roight careful when sneakin' up on him! Now, watch me wrassle 'im to the ground!"
