He is taking levels of fighter and is looking for a prestige class to reflect how an Elven knight would be represented. I told him that it would have nothing to do with mounted combat since in the forest there isnt much room for that. I need to know if there are any out there for elves to be knights? Queen Alhana had someone like this in the war of souls books. |

I would also suggest you gaze at the Complete Warrior book, where you may find some suitable PrCs. Some examples, the Cavalier for one. Yeah, sure, you mentioned nothing mounted, but who is two say it has to be a horse, the elves are notorious for riding griffons. Change some of the requirements to reflect riding flying creaturs, and this would be a well suited addition. Bladesinger is another good option, if you consider that the two major things in elvish society is the strength of the warrior, and the cunning of the mage. This would take that to new heights as well. Maybe a Knight Protector would be good, especially from a story line standpoint. The Knight Protector is a character that wishes to uphold all that the knighthood once stood for, and to protect those traditions. With thise, maybe the character to obtain some strong Solamnic influence, and decide to uphold those values while creating a knighthood for the elven societies. Of course, if none of these suits the situation, and you have no other quality examples, maybe you could just mention that the character may just want to model itself after a Solamnic Knight in all its behaviors, since he seems to want to be a knight in that manner. |
