The dinosaurs on the list are: - Deinonychus (SNA IV) - Elasmosaurus (SNA V) - Megaraptor (SNA VI) - Triceratops (SNA VII) - Tyrannosaurus (SNA VII) Dragons are the obvious choice, but they might be too powerful. Suggestions? |

You don't actually need to have them appear - many campaigns don't have dinosaurs. I wouldn't worry about them being gone from the list, just use the other animals. Alternately, leave them in, as they're certainly not entirely out of the question for Krynn. There are probably dinosaurs in remote parts of Krynn, maye even in the Great Swamp or the Moors. Actually...dinosaurs are native to Krynn. They're mentioned a few times...most specifically in The Bestiary. But I don't think they exist anymore. It's always reference to the Age of Starbirth/Twilight...which really seems to be an Age of Reptiles. Dragons, bakali, wyverns, all manner of draconic creatures, and dinosaurs. But, it's possible that a "Land of the Lost" of sorts exists on Krynn somewhere...so the Summon Spell should work fine, I'd think. |
