#1 wolffenjugend_dup Jan 08, 2005 22:04:54	Is a Wiz of HS required to take on specialized schools (and the prohibited schools that go with it)? The Towers of High Sorcery states they may, making me think it's optional. I'm not talking about the pre-reqs to become a Wiz HS; I'm talking about once the 1st-lvl of Wiz HS is taken.
#2 cam_banks Jan 08, 2005 22:49:19	Arcane Focus is optional. You can always stay unspecialized, or keep your current level of specialization (if you were already a specialist). However, you can't choose any other schools if you do take Arcane Focus - you must choose one of the two schools belonging to your Order. Cheers, Cam

They can take the prestige class, but they can't make use of the Arcane Focus class feature and thus wouldn't have any additional specialization benefits. Cheers, Cam
