The Living Greyhawk Circle has posted another Mysterious Places article. This time they explore a place caled the Jungle of Lost Ships in the Solnor. And, they present an adventure associated with the locale.

It is an interesting article, if you can get past the horrendous amount of editing errors.

Check it out HERE.

Happy gaming.

[Edit: this is a double post - Mortellan posted a similar thread about eighteen hours ago.]

I like that the crew raised this adventure but think that involving Keoland per se doesn't make sense given the incredible distance between the Solnor Coast and the Throne of the Lion. While the Silent Ones or Drawmidj might learn of the captain's claims, it would not be the Black Lion but instead the Seekers or the Silent Ones who might sponsor PCs in the eastern Flanaess to attempt to recover some lost object of magic.

While Ahlissa makes sense, I think that the Sea Barons and Rel Astra are the most likely states to sponsor such expeditions, along with the Lordship of the Isles and its masters in Shar.

"The Jungle of Lost Ships" appeared as an adventure in the Glossography for the Guide to the World of Greyhawk (pp. 28-29) in the WoG boxed set way back in 1983. I'd never really figured out a way to get the adventurers out there, but perhaps one day I will...

I believe that this might have been because of obvious attitude of some LG players that 'Ahlissa is the most evil nation on Oerth, we will never work for them!' and to obviously satisfy US gamers by giving chanage to help one of their regions (though in the end Ahlissa seeemed to win, mainly because very few cons sent campaign results).
