I took office just two months ago (in the 127th year of our ally Guvner Hashkar's reign), but already I've transformed Sigil's justice system. Mallin was not a well man. He was extremely old, and it was no secret that his will to live (and for justice, which is life) had been waning for years. Everyone knew it was just a matter of time before he had a heart attack, a stroke, or fell through a portal to the world of Athas. When a man that elderly and sick finally shuffles off his mortal coil, it's just a mercy.
