#1vasiliyJan 27, 2005 19:09:06 | Hi I'm totally new in DM and D&D. I'm planning to use eight WoC modules "The Sunless Citadel", "The Forge of Fury" e.t.c in my first campaign. I want to use Greyhawk setting (I bought old "Greyhawk World" box set, "Greyhawk Adventures"). My first question is - where in Oerth I have to begin campaign like this? In which year? Maybe somebody has experience with these modules in Greyhawk world. Second question - what is the best way to buy miniatures for such campaign? Thanks |

There is no official placement for the modules so it's up to you. You can look at what we did in my campaign at: http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=211603 But my advice is look at your group and the modules and decide what's best for you and the style of play. If you want it tough on the PCs then set them farther from resupply and safety, to gently ease them in, make information and help readily available. I'm not trying to be evasive or vague, but you will know your campaign and players best so no one is in a better position to make these judgements. |
