There is no shame in defending the honor of your country and more specifically your soldiers. Anyone who has a problem with that can go straight to Baator,by the most expedient means possible.
Defending dishonorable acts of countries and shameful wars certainly is. Unconditional support to your country and your soldiers is very simple-minded, though its does seem to be a national policy down there...
