#1qstorFeb 10, 2005 12:25:05 | Gary Holian and Pierre(?) had two old posts on Greytalk about the timeline of the Kings of Furyondy and there were a few named Hugh. I skimmed through the Marklands and didnt see any named Hugh? Am I missing another source? Thanks! Mike |

He is mentioned first in the '83 boxed set under the information covering the March of Bissel. "Bissel became a tributary state of Furyondy for a few decades, but when humanoid invasions swept over the latter realm, the Margrave Rollo established the independence of the territory by bravery in service of the King of Furyondy (the bisselites slaughtered a horde of Jebli (goblins) which lay in ambush for King Hugh III, who was guarded by a small train.)" This act earned the Littlemark palatinate status. Thus, we infer from this reference that there were at least three Furyon Kings by the name of Hugh. I'll repost the "Roll of Furyon Kings" on Canonfire so people can reference it there. -Gary |
