#1zombiegleemaxFeb 20, 2005 17:52:59 | this is a querry for those that used/did out the trek to Ur Draxa...did you follow it by the book? i was suprised when i asked my old DM how such travel was possible and he assumed there was another way in...and made one himself, in Dragon's Crown, a parallel to the gates inside the storm. its actually pretty cool, the format of VoDaF kept the spirit of the designers very well...high level and extraordinarily difficult tasks in a difficult environment, for difficult players no less ;) |
#2dawnstealerFeb 21, 2005 0:51:37 | The one group of players I had that actually made it to epic levels decided they were big enough to take on the Dragon. It turned out that they had procured the Wanderer's Journal and decided that, stat-wise, they could easily take Borys out. Of course, I always thought he was a bit underpowered, so I had spiced him up a bit a long time before the PCs started plotting. It took them roughly two years to figure out where the Dragon's lair was and about another year to actually get there. Of course, all but one died, but it was a pretty spectacular adventure. I followed Valley of Dust and Fire fairly closely as far as getting there went. |
