Two of my PC must get in the Nagamarakam to search for scroll and find the location of the Pristine tower. I need some good idea for hazard and danger to put in the Nagamarakam and on the road to the tower.

I already read Amber enchantress and Marauder of Nibenay. I'm searching for other idea of danger they could encounter (creature, raider, sub-quest anything. )Of course I plan to have the shadow giant guarding the tower.

Considering the other conversations we've been having on the other posts, you could go with mutant creatures. The Tlincalli (scorpion men) are always challenging both because they're smart and physically formidable. Passing that, both Nibenay and Lalali puy would be very protective of the Pristine Tower after what happened "last time." Maybe they could run into templars?

You can always put Dhojakt in there as a thorn in the PCs' side.

Depending on their class, certainly. Pringles seems to run through his adventures pretty quick, so I'm assuming his players are pretty high up there: Dhojakt could be a very interesting encounter for them.

Btw, I dont play with the event of the Prism pentad, so Sadira and such dont exist in my campaign.

And what do you mean by Pringles seems to run through his adventures pretty quick?

And putting Dijhkat as a little bit to ripe-off for my taste.

No offense meant. Last time you asked for help with ideas, it took you two weeks and you were done with all of them. Just saying that you must have more time to game than I do (once a week, if I'm lucky).

There are bogo snakes that eat bogo fruit in the woods near the tower. They could provide an encounter or two, though the bogo fruit itself is more interesting... (source: Dregoth Ascending; Bogo Snake is converted in Terrors of Athas).

You could slip in some Shadow Giants in or around the Tower as well. There always a tough fight.

It's not necesserly monster that I want for encounter. I could always put some cilops in the salt flat and some other random monster on the way to the tower and of course, I will put the shadow giant waiting for the Pc at the tower.
These encounter are generaly short, it just a fight, the Pc win or die and that it.

What I need is some interesting encounter that are almost scenario by themselve.
- Like the Pc must get to the tower before a tribe of rival elf.
- The Pc must travel in a valley occupied by a Nightmarebeast and must figure way to past it.
- The Pc rescue someone that is not what he think.

etc.

I need some for Nibenay too.

Of course, I can find myself my own idea, but I find it usefull to post it here and sometime people give me really interesting adventure idea. Like recently Kamelion with his idea regarding the Golden tower and the templar of Raam.

Well for the Nagamarakam, it may depend on the approach the characters take to get in.

I always like the various Athasian golems. Nibenay is sure to have various types of golems around his palace. Maybe even new ones of your creation.

You could have the party stumble across a high ranking templar who is in engaged in a secret tryst with her defiler lover. They are embarrassed to have been caught and if the characters are disguised may not release the party should not be there either.

If the characters are not part of the Veiled Alliance, maybe members of the alliance, also happen to be trying to secretly infiltrate the palace and steal something. The two groups run into each other, and do not know who or what the other group is. If they start a battle against the other, the noise will alert the whole Nagamarakam.

If you what to surprise the players, you could always through in a male templar.

Once the party leaves Nibenay will send forces to track them down. The obsidian retriever could be a good creature to through on their trail.

Another may be something called an animator. They were from Ravenloft. I think they were indestructible spirits. They had no physical form but could posses and animate objects. There were different size animators, small ones that could animate a weapon, medium size ones that could animate a chariot or wagon, and large animators that could posses houses.
The animate could be possessive of items in the library. When the characters steal the scroll it wants to see the scroll returned to the library. So it follows the characters attacking them at different times, by possessing different items.

Or Nibenay could summon fiendish help. Maybe elemental creatures, but I prefer fiends because of their plotting nature. One ploy I have used way too much is to have the fiend change its form to that of a gith. Take charge of a gith tribe and attack the characters. As the party fights they notice one gith that seems to shrug off all blows. That is until a magical weapon or spell manages to actually wound the creature at which point it returns to its original form.

In my campaign, I had the PC's escort Siemok (sp?) to and thru the elemental plane of earth to help barter an alliance for the Shadow King in order to aid in the defense of Nibenay against Dregoth with Ogremach the Elemental Prince of Evil.

don't forget to get back to basics, grab a tabloid or newspaper, add some typical intrigue to your campaigns, political unrest of a neighboring village, scandal with tribal family, wandering outcasts who steal from the pc's, if they loose vital items, they may have to take a break to hunt it down. what about ancient ruins around the tower?? old relics rajaat discarded in his remake of the tower?? what about the reverse of the tower, what about pillars that go underground?? deep into the heart of athas? perhaps there are life shaped realms burried far far deep beneath the grounds of the tower. What if the mutating magics of the pristine tower are finally starting to be undone? perhaps the pc's must find a way to undo those forces, or the slightest scratch or bug bite would leave them without any sentience (not to mention with a few extra features :P) what if the ancient forces of the tower are regenerating it, removing rajaat's taint?? restoring it to what it once was?? that could delay the pc's, depending on how you arange for that regeneration, (a spirit of the land busy healing itself after centuries of torment might not have patience (or the sanity) to deal with wandering pc's, and may hedge them out, leaving them to find a less conventional means to travel through the area.)
