#1ividMar 06, 2005 5:38:44 | Hello, Only some general questions this time: What are the products that were released for the AoM? - I know that there were some novels, but were there also gaming supplements? And is that rumour about an upcoming AoM sourcebook true? Thank you! R |
#2zombiegleemaxMar 06, 2005 13:16:19 | I don't believe anything for the Age of Might specifically has been released, though books like Towers of High Sorcery can be used for any Age... and yeah, I heard that there is going to be a sourcebook for that Age, but I guess that adll depends on how well the Dragonlance line is selling... BTW does anyone know how well DL is doing in the commercial market? |

BTW does anyone know how well DL is doing in the commercial market? Considering a couple of their products sold out (such as the Key of Destiny), it sounds like they're doing very well. Since Sovereign Press is private, I doubt we'll get true sales figures from the company. |
#4ividMar 07, 2005 3:39:03 | Thank you! And for 2e? - I recall that there were a dozen of novels or so... but were there also adventure books? |
#5raistlinroxMar 07, 2005 5:32:04 | The only thing I have ever seen that you can adventure in the Age of Might is the "Anvil of Time" adventure by Mr. Hickman that takes place through several ages. |
#6zombiegleemaxMar 07, 2005 7:20:36 | I thought I heard that we might see a source book that covers Age of Starbirth, Dreams, and Might depending upon how other items from SP sell. That might have something to do with that there really isn't enough info on any of those 3 ages alone to do a book on. Of course I could be making all this up. ;) |
#7ividMar 07, 2005 10:40:47 | And does noone know about a 2e sourcebook for AoM? - I thought I had seen it some time before... Would like to do a *historical campaign* on Krynn some time in the future... Had thought that there were more infos... No veterans around that can help me? ... ;) |
#8cam_banksMar 07, 2005 11:15:35 | And does noone know about a 2e sourcebook for AoM? - I thought I had seen it some time before... Nope, there really haven't been any sourcebooks on the years before the Cataclysm. It's a period of a thousand years, too, all of which was after Huma, so it's quite a lengthy period (and dragon-less, to boot). Cheers, Cam |
#9ividMar 08, 2005 2:09:12 | Thank you, Cam and all the others! I mean, as my *fav* playground is still the continent of Taladas, I don't know if I had REALLY used such a book in the near future... However, this way, I know at least that I can stop browsing the web... I mean, there is plenty of stuff out there for AoM, but I'd liked to see it compiled into a book... *Hello, SovPress authors! Book request!* ;) Thanks again! |
