#1zombiegleemaxMar 10, 2005 0:30:49 | Hello fellow Dark Sun Mappers! I've been hand drawing regional maps for several years now and I'm ready to move from ink and paper to keyboard and screen... any suggestions for mapping software? I'd like the maps to look as authentic - as close to the box set maps - as possible. The mapping software that was used on the Sundra Peninsula looked really cool and so does the map for the Kalidan region (a recently posted thread). I could really use some help here, please. :D Especially if you are able to post links to great free mapping programs :D Keep your dice warm and your character sheets dry! |

You could probably go to their site and get a demo of their latest version. I could also email you my dark sun symbols (and anybody else who wants them). I used Adobe as well for its filters. The stoney barrans, mud flats, salt flats, water and rivers and verdant belts were created use Adobe. |
