The game will be focused on the movie with only some incidental inclusion of show features. Fans can rejoice and experience the action, drama, and humor of the show for only $39.99. A nearer new release is Tom Wham's Dancing Dragons card game, due out in June. This is an interesting interactive game, where partners must work together to build and declare they have constructed a dragon to score points without their opponents deducing the fact and stealing the dragon for themselves. All of this builds to an interesting victory condition. The game does require teams to play, requiring 4, 6, or 8 to play. Expected retail cost is $9.99. Finally, there are seven titles being released for the Dragonlance campaign setting. It is a mix of products with old, new, and reorganized products all included in this years releases. There will be an updated release of a classic original retooled for the new system, a new campaign expansion, two new sourcebooks on Krynn, two adventures, and a new packaging of the current campaign books. These books will be coming out from April through November with pricing from $14.99 to $59.99. |

#3zombiegleemaxMar 18, 2005 9:56:43 | Does anyone know the titles of these products, and their exact release dates? Only three of the products have been named and dated, The Map Pouch, Spectre of Sorrows, and The Holy Orders of the Stars. The unconfirmed are probably the original adventures 3.5 update, the final Age of Mortals campaign module the Price of Courage, and a Legends sourcebook. The "with pricing from $14.99 to $59.99" is kind of interesting. The $15 is obviously the Map Pouch, but what will cost $60? The most expensive product so far is the War of the Lance book at $45. It could mean that the 'new packaging' is a box set, but of what products? The module trilogy? AoM + BoK? Or it could be that instead of releasing the retooled original modules as many small adventures, or as a trilogy, it will be all in one. That would be cool. |

A lot of the product information will go up on the website in the coming week. I came back from Las Vegas with a horrible cold, so I have to nurse myself back to health by Monday! Jamie Chambers Sovereign Press, Inc. |
#5ranger_regMar 19, 2005 18:02:29 | Is Serenity a d20 or OGL-based game, or will it be a completely different ruleset? |
#6kalanthMar 20, 2005 0:44:57 | Shoot, I wish the fun pack came out when I was buying the DL stuff, would have saved a ton of money. Oh well, money well spent. I can't wait to get my grubby hands on SoS, I have been so excited to play that one ever since my group finished KoD almost three months ago. Placed the game on a stasis freeze and we have been playing Eberron since. Soon we can get back to the good game. :D |
#7silvanthalasMar 20, 2005 11:19:38 | I came back from Las Vegas with a horrible cold, so I have to nurse myself back to health by Monday! How in the world do you come back from Vegas with a cold? They've already got high's around 80, don't they? You should be getting cold when you get back to that arctic tundra known as Wisconsin. :D Anyways, I look forward to the site update. It means I can get my list updated again before I take *my* trip to Vegas at the end of the month. |
#8zombiegleemaxMar 26, 2005 6:51:11 | A lot of the product information will go up on the website in the coming week. Jamie Chambers The week in question is over, so where is the new information? |
#9zombiegleemaxMar 26, 2005 8:24:16 | Is Serenity a d20 or OGL-based game, or will it be a completely different ruleset? The Serenity Roleplaying Game does not use the OGL or the d20 System in any way. In fact, you don't use any d20s at all when playing the game! Jamie Chambers Sovereign Press, Inc. |
#10valharicMar 26, 2005 18:42:45 | The following quote is from Margret Weis on the SP boards. It's from an old thread I had, asking some questions. "The system we're using is a revision of the Sovereign Stone system (which was very well received!). The target release date is Gen Con, 05. (The movie is coming out the end of September.)" -Queen of Darkness I'm not sure what this system is and I'll give it a try. Either way I'll probably buy the book and use it as a resource and convert items to the D20 future system. |
