Is there any source where i can picture those? Uhm, there is not much predefined there, given the ragtag assembly of troops and races... But in the novel "The Citadel" the officers of a former black dragonarmy commander wear a black breastplate with a fiive-headed monster on it... Therefore this could be representative: Color of the dragons as color of the armor with the symbol of Takhi on it. Hope that helps, Regards, M's Claw EDIT: Oh, I'd say that the dragonarmies in general are void of distinct and homogenous heraldry. In fact, the sole unifying aspect may have been, that companies of mercenaries, goblins, draconians regulars etc. at least have the color of their affiliation with one of the five armies attributed to their own insignias. The Kang-Storyline shows that there are core troops who are highly organized. On ecould fathom, that these troops are identified by their regimental number along with their weapon type under the shield of their commanding general (if they are noble or not, I imagine that at least their pride had them take on heraldic signs for themselves) on a banner the color of their army. So, the 4th light cavalry of the army under the General Khalun Isdra'ut from Khur in the black dragonarmy could have a banner like this: A "IV" in white letters as their regimental number with a lance beneath it (for light cavalry) under a shield depicting a black open hand on red (Shield of Khalun) all on a black banner (black dragon army).. But, well, that's made up and not founded on sources |
