What about Dalamar and Raistlin. I know Nuitari is in mortal form in this trilogy. Also Ariakin who is the son of Zeboim and Ariakis is in this trilogy trapped in a chess piece... |

Raistlin is dead but appeared to the gods in The War of Souls. |

As for Raistlin, he's finally passed into the River of Souls (or whatever it's called) the only reason he was hanging around during the WoS was he was waiting for Caramon to pass on. Now that he has, they have both moved on for good! No more Raistlin!!! He was an awesome character who's time has come and gone. It's time for a new set of heroes and villians that have little to no connection to the companions. Ariakan could possibly return, Chemosh would have to release him from his khas piece. Merely destroying the piece would just send his soul into the River of Souls. |
#6raistlinroxMar 23, 2005 2:22:50 | Margaret has said on several occasions that Takhisis will not come back, ever, in any way. I can't imagine Raist coming back (except in my own game where he has possessed a wizard). I imagine Dalamar will probably be making an appearance sometime in the DD trilogy, since there is the Tower of the Blood Sea. He probably wasn't used because Wizard's Conclave was being written at approximately the same time as A&A and Margaret didn't want to step on D. Niles' toes (although, could Weis really step on anyone's toes? She's the creator/author of DL and what she says pretty much goes). I really hope Dalamar makes an appearance. I am also hoping Ariakan gets free to whip these damn KoN into shape and make them what they were when they were formed! |
#7zombiegleemaxMar 28, 2005 15:30:22 | But...anything can happen Touche. I concede that, in a world of powerful magic and where deities meddle with mortal affairs on a regular basis, anything can happen. ;) |
#8frostdawnMar 29, 2005 14:09:33 | Do you think Takhisis in mortal form might make an appearance? Don't think that's going to happen since she's dead, but this has been answered. And I don't think the gods will forgive her or grant her amnesty. She proverbially stabbed them all in the back, stole the world from them all, and potentially caused irrevocable damage in terms of loss of followers to all of the gods. Let's not forget her meddling revealed the world to another world populated by alien dragons. I figure those other dragons that dwarfed Malys and the others might get curious about this new place, and that is something else the gods will have to contend with from now on. I know Palladin in mortal form is still alive since they haven't said he's dead. What about Dalamar and Raistlin. Dalamar is still around, Raistlin is merely a spirit during the WoS, and moved on after being reunited with Caramon's spirit. I know Nuitari is in mortal form in this trilogy. Also Ariakin who is the son of Zeboim and Ariakis is in this trilogy trapped in a chess piece... Nuitari took the form of an avatar, but did not become mortal. It's his equivalent of a Fizban (when Paladine was still a god that is). Same story for Chemosh and Zeboim, they took human form avatars in their visits to Krynn during A&A. |
