#1zombiegleemaxMar 20, 2005 18:32:41 | In the DL campaign setting, it details the WoHS prestige class, and one of the requirements is the Focused Specialization. While I really like the thematic reason for the Specialization (ie Nuitari grants black magic, so black robes have good necromancy & enchantment, but not much in other schools), my players hate the fact that it shuts them out of a huge portion of the wizard spell list. Does anyone have a suggestion of how I might be able to make the WoHS less restrictive without totally ruining the theme? I heard that there was a DL sourcebook (Towers of High Sorcery, or something like that) that featured an altered version of the WoHS. Could anyone tell me a little about that? Any help would be appreciated. |

If you're a specialist wizard, you can stay as you are, or you can refine it further, as above. All specialists need to specialize in one of their Orders' schools, if they take this route. Conjurors and evokers, for example, can't benefit from it. Cheers, Cam |
