#2zombiegleemaxApr 05, 2005 8:17:30 | I liked it. I'll have to fine-tooth-comb it to figure out if it's properly balanced, but it looks that way at first blush. --besides, I love the rhul-thaun, and any prestige class associated with them is going to be cool NB |
#3beyowulfApr 07, 2005 12:39:09 | For any of you that missed it... The Mole Warrior "I noticed the stranger instantly as he walked into our village. His hands were large and rough, ending in points at their fingers. His skin looked rough and calloused. Most of all I noticed his face, it was long like an erdlu's. He seemed more beast than man." - Anonymous Many who see the Mole Warrior assume he is member of another race. The truth is stranger than that. Mole Warriors are not born, they're made. Among the Rhulisti Halflings of the Jagged Cliffs exists those skilled in the art of life-shaping. Among their life-shaped creations, is a relic of the green age, a particular creatures that is only complete when attached to the spine of a sentient humanoid. There, as it cared for and grows, it merges and with its host and makes changes to its body, resulting in the Mole Warrior. Hit Die: D8 Reqirements:To become a Mole Warrior, you must meet these requirements Skills: Knowledge: Geography(11 Ranks) Knowledge: Psionics(7 ranks) Special:Must have made friendly contact with the Rhulisti Halflings of The Jagged Cliff Special:Must have a vertebrae. #4beyowulfApr 15, 2005 14:41:18 | Final Bump! I've made some changes, and unless anyone wants to comment on it, I am leaving it as is. |
#5ruhl-than_sageApr 15, 2005 18:54:32 | :D Must have a vertebrae :D |
#6beyowulfApr 15, 2005 20:59:49 | :D Must have a vertebrae :D :D Well, what I had in mind is that a Thri-Kreen might want to take this class. But what would the symbiote attach itself to? Said Thri-Kreen could still take the class, but would need to be polymorphed for the duration. |
#7ruhl-than_sageApr 15, 2005 21:53:23 | Actually I like the class I was just laughing at the idea of specifically requiring a vertebrae (rather than: must be Humaniod or some such) for a prestige class. Ever since I played Breath of Fire for NES (or was it SNES) I've loved the idea of molemen, in fact I've been wanting to make up a moleman race for my homebrewed campaign setting "Khasm". |
#8beyowulfApr 15, 2005 22:02:11 | Actually I like the class Thanks. I was just laughing at the idea of specifically requiring a vertebrae (rather than: must be Humaniod or some such) for a prestige class. Ever since I played Breath of Fire for NES (or was it SNES) I've loved the idea of molemen, in fact I've been wanting to make up a moleman race for my homebrewed campaign setting "Khasm". Molemen are cool, and I've always loved the Breath of Fire series. (As an aside, I am listening to the Dragon Quarter soundtrack at the moment.) Now that I think of it, I guess I could've put, 'Must be humanoid', but this seems a little more specific. |
