However, it is pretty self evident what the diety's favoured weapons are. What else would you give a diety of storm and sea for example?

Of course, there are some exceptions. I've always felt that Sirrion's clerics should have a spiked chain for a favoured weapon. Especially a flaming burst one. ;) Stacks nicely with the strength domain the DLCS gives him too (though I'm not sure why he gets strength as a domain).

Your confusion about giving Sirrion the strength domain was apparently echoed by the folks at SP since he in fact has Chaos, Fire, and Passion as his domains.

Sirrion's portfolio (not as you correctly point out, his clerical domain entry) lists strength and sun for some reason. His portfolio is, as anybody could probably tell from his writeup, nothing of the sort.

This is all being fixed in Holy Orders of the Stars, though!

Apr 15, 2005 14:33:16 Oop, my mistake. I'm really curious to see if there are new domains in the Holy Order of the Stars. I found that the domains in the DLCS were too few and shared by too many gods. I'd prefer if the domains of the gods were entirely unique since Krynn has so few dieties.

I stand by my statement that Sirrion should have some kind of lashing weapon to fit in with the flame theme. Spiked chain is the only one I'm aware of that isn't completely useless.
