That makes me wonder; with Balic being right next to the Sea of Silt and all, it must be covered in dust and grime all the time. Plus it seems like it would be pretty hard to breath whenever the wind kicks up a dust cloud. Maybe Andropinus setup some sort of ward to still the wind or keep the dust out. |
#3zombiegleemaxApr 16, 2005 13:28:00 | I think there were some more angles, but it was back in the late 90s I think when I found the site. Technically, if the silt in the Sea of Silt could sink a man, it could easliy be picked up and carried by a wind. With that amount of silt near the Tyr region, the silt storms would be so thick as to block out the sun and last for several months. However, plants will grow rather well afterwards. |

#5zombiegleemaxApr 17, 2005 0:43:15 | Have there be an artifact in balic that the dictator created that stills the silt in a certain radius of the city, making it possible to live there. silt will still come in, but only by being borne on winds high above the ground from very far from the city. and if anyone ever yoinks that artifact after finding it, then balic gets its own cataclysm. |
