#1jesterjeffApr 16, 2005 17:06:07 | On the Eberron forum someone posted this thread http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=414256 in it they say that on page 69 as well as on others in the lords of madness sourcebook they refer to Illithid and Neogi spelljammer ships....but refer to spelljamming as traveling a Prime material plane similar to our universe....planets solar systems and galaxies instead of the crystal spheres. maybe they are going to do a re-release? |
#2nightdruidApr 16, 2005 17:15:58 | Don't know, but I did see the nautaloid reference in there when I looked at it last week, but completely missed the chapter on neogi (now how in blue heck did I managed THAT??!!??!!). I claim no "secret knowledge", but I kinda/sorta expect that Wizards is going to be watching the release of the Hackified Settings (Greyhawk, Mystara, Spelljammer, etc) very closely. If they do well, and if the upcoming "campaign classics" runs in Dragon do well, they might just give these settings a second look. Maybe not worthy of entire lines, but maybe one-off books could do it. But that's just me guessing at this point. |
#3jesterjeffApr 16, 2005 17:42:25 | well here's hoping. I've already decided to 'tax' my players. I'm missing a few books and plan to impose a one time 30 dollar 'player tax' in order to pick up the few books we're missing, hells someone stole my DG a few months back and i need and extra players handbook so that there's always one ready for both my spellcasters and the rest...i may need to add lords of madness to that list. :D |
#4zombiegleemaxMay 05, 2005 18:49:06 | NightDruid Could you tell me a little more about this? "if the upcoming "campaign classics" runs in Dragon do well," When is this going to happen? |
#5nightdruidMay 05, 2005 19:00:22 | NightDruid That I'm not entirely certain. I *think* Dragon is going to run every year in June or July articles about "dead" campaign settings like Darksun, Birthright, Spelljammer, and the like. They announced it a month or two ago; Eric Mona would know more about it. |
