"Dwarven Kingdoms of Krynn" Question

Apr 26, 2005 16:07:50 I'm reading the books from the Dwarven Kingdoms of Krynn and page 41 in the book "Songs of the Loremaster" makes reference to a chronicle known as "The Covenant of the Forge". This chronicle tells the tale of the fall of Thorin, but it is not included in the boxed set (or if it is, I can't seem to find it). This is striking since the book just skips over the fall of Thorin and continues on with the story, almost as if the reader should go elsewhere to find out what happened.

Has the "Covenant of the Forge" been published somewhere? Or is the reference just flavour?

Apr 26, 2005 16:18:00 It's book #1 of the "Dwarven Nations Trilogy" by Dan Parkinson. #2 is Hammer and Axe and I don't remember the correct name for #3 off the top of my head.

edit: Wasn't there an announcement about old novels being re-released? I know they re-did the Elven Nations trilogy. Are they doing the same for the Dwarven Nations?

Ah ha! And that's the series that is out of print, right? The one blasted series I don't own!!!

The third one is "The Swordsheath Scroll". You should have just done what I did. You should have bought it in December of 1993. :D

Wasn't there an announcement about old novels being re-released? I know they re-did the Elven Nations trilogy. Are they doing the same for the Dwarven Nations?

I'm not sure if they are going to do so or not. Otherwise, eBay is a good place to pick up the series.

Apr 27, 2005 11:30:23 bookfinder.com is an excellent search engine to find new and used books for sale on-line. Just search for the series title, the author or the individually titled books. You're sure to find some copies at a reasonable price.

p.s. I picked up all three on Ebay last night so soon they'll be all mine... Mwa-ha-ha!
