#1ruhl-than_sageApr 30, 2005 15:52:11 | Does anyone know what Mira's Halo is? I can't find any information on it. Even if there isn't any material about it has anyone made something up for it? |
#2PennarinApr 30, 2005 18:18:49 | Anyone struck with Déja-Vu? |
#3zombiegleemaxApr 30, 2005 19:38:24 | Anyone struck with Déja-Vu? Actually, no. But then again I just started looking at these boards after about a years absence... |
#4PennarinMay 01, 2005 2:47:48 | Ruhl, if you check the title of every thread going back several weeks, you'll find one with the same name as this one. I remember someone asking about a location with a female name. I also remember no one knows anything about the place. Its one of those places that are a mystery, like Magehome. |
#5KamelionMay 01, 2005 5:01:11 | The only information on Mira's Halo comes from Dune Trader, p31:20 employees, 30 slaves. Outpost located in sandy wastes between Tyr and Urik. Named for an unusual rock formation nearby, this outpost is officially owned by House Qual, one of Thaxos's (ie. House Vordon) dummy trade houses. Occupied by Urikite forces during the conflict with Tyr, it has since reverted to its original owners. It will be used to house iron shipments from Tyr. The Halo also has facilities to house 100 or more troops, although it currently holds no warriors A few nuggets to play with, but that's about it. |
#6pringlesMay 01, 2005 5:50:36 | In my campaign, I changed it for a normal oasis. |
#7ruhl-than_sageMay 06, 2005 16:29:44 | That's really lame. I'm glad I just went ahead and made it a small community arround an oasis guarded by a Druid name Mira. |
#8dawnstealerMay 06, 2005 16:38:18 | In my campaign, it's filled with mole-people who plot to take over the world with their army of dwelfs. |
#9PennarinMay 06, 2005 17:05:11 | Its actually the name of the little villa of Rajaat's mother, Mira. There's a funny story about those two: When the Champions come out of the Gray near the Pristine Tower with the intent to kill Rajaat, Pennarin gets killed by his former master right away. But what RaFoaDK doesn't tell you is that you could hear the following right after: "Rajaaaaaat!", says an old crone in an shrill, angry voice. And then Rajaat responding, plaintively "...mother!!!" "You're in big trouble mister!", she said. "Mum...not in front of the Champions!" Rajaat said, red in the face. :P |
