#1zombiegleemaxMay 02, 2005 12:29:16 | I am in the middle of doing a 3.5 write up for the adventure Black Flames and I am working on the beginning parts (the random encounters that the PCs come across) and while I was checking the stats for the belgoi in the Terrors of Athas, I noticed that in this present incarnation that they have a Stength draining ability whereas before, in 2nd edition, they had a Constitution drain. I was just curious as to the thought process behind that switch. Thanks! |

#3flipMay 02, 2005 15:04:58 | The difference may come down to this: In 3e, draining strength, dex, int, wis, cha are all paralyzing when it hits 0. Con, however, when it hits zero, means you're dead. (DMG3.5 289) So, con draining is more powerful than the draining for any other stat. |
