I am thinking of returning to Ansalon again for a short while and launching a short campaign in pre-WotL Qualinost. So far, the only ressource I have is the *kindred spirits* novel. Is there any other novel or supplement detailing this era? - Any suggestions welcome!

May 17, 2005 16:54:53 Depends on how "PRE" you want to go. The Elven Nations trilogy is a good source for both the Silvanesti and Qualinesti and details the Kinslayer Wars. The last book The Qualinesti may be of some use to you for gaming resources.

As it seems with most elvish nations they are extremely slow to change so traditions and society probably dosen't change very much in their culture, to a degree.

May 18, 2005 6:39:07 The Puppet King and the Lioness also take place in Qualinesti. I know they are Age of Mortals but they really help describe the city. Plus DoFS also describes it.

I think the War of the Lance book is hands down the best DL product to cover geography (but I may be biased). It has two or three pages on Qualinesti.

I'll check out the WotL book this summer when I am back in Spain. (all my 3e DL resources are in Spanish, so I'll just continue the collection...)
