Tuesdays with Mentzer [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-14-08, 05:42 PM I was recently re-reading through the first portions of redbox basic set, and I noticed something. When your nameless fighter character goes to buy some plate armor, the armorer says it will be ready on "Tuesday".

Are there other places in canon where Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday are used for names of the days?

02-15-08, 02:16 AM Interesting. I don't know of any other places offhand, but then, I'm not sure they would have necessarily struck me (I'm usually looking for other tidbits of information).

I do know that the calendar in B10 for the Traladarans is different from the calendar that is later generally adopted for the setting, though. IIRC, it has the same number of days (336), but the months themselves may have more or fewer days depending.

Indeed! That makes me wonder if the minrothaddan are the only ones with a different calendar, or if the traladarans also had their own.
