French-canadians are weird.

Hmm...as far as Kalak goes, I'd say that he was a champion/non-champion half-dwelf crossbreed.

French-canadians are weird.

I know what you mean, I live surrounded by them...

On the other hand, giant, human-piloted alien robots rule.
Especially if you have to yell each of your special attacks for the robot to respond...

Maybe the Imperial Kreen have a giant Kreen-like construct whose pilot will champion their defense against the threat posed by the very existence of the Tablelands.

And Kalak, he is a kreen. The shy pink variety.
Kalak, in kreen language, means scout.

He got zik-xchilled into humanoïd shape and sent to the Tablelands to establish an advanced outpost for the eventual invasion.

Kalak IS a champion. OF THE KREEN EMPIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It all falls together...

I can't believe none of you noticed this.

You show your ignorance, sir: everyone knows that it is the space halflings that pilot the giant robots.

Duh.

Touché...

More please.

The Giant Kreen Robot (GiKreeRo), who is piloted by the 3 space halflings, is actually from a parallel dimension which is identical in ALL ways to the current dimension.
Except for the fact that it has 3 space halflings and GiKreeRo. Or rather USED to have those, before they switched to the current dimension and crashed on the Kreen Empire. Now WE are stuck with them.

That's where Kalak comes in. He rturns from the Gray in his original Kreen form (modified for the Dragon stages he achieved before Tithian chopped his balls with a Battle-Axe) to repair GiKreeRo and send it back to it's own dimension where, ironically, it crashes on the Kreen Empire and is destroyed, thus making both dimensions identical for real.

Now, with their newly gained knowledge (Craft Giant Space Robot [Item Creation]), both Kalaks, each in their own dimension, are going to supply the Imperial Kreen army with no end of GiKreeRos to devastate the dreaded Tablelands.

Now, I do hope that it's a new enough view of Kalak being a champion or not to be worth posting.

And it synergizes with Terminus Vortexa's NEED of a Kreen Dragon.

As a note, before the Cleansing Wars, Kreen preferred Ogre flesh to Elf flesh, which is an inferior substitute. That's why Kalak was mistakenly thought of as the Champion called Oger Doom, who was an Ogre tasked with the destruction of the Ogre race, and who was eaten by Kalak as an aperitive before feasting on the last stronghold of the Ogres in Tyr'agi.

As stated by the great Maddox, the halflings plan on blowing up Guthay and replacing it with a giant, robotic monkey head.

And I was half-expecting it to be the dwelves. But of course they couldn't be, since they don't exist.

Dwelves lack the calm demeanor needed to pilot giant robots. Sheesh.

God that guy is hilarious most of the time, the other times he's just downright silly.

Which isn't a bad thing...
