I have heard it said that the Sagard series (4 books) by EGG is set on the Oerth parallel world of Yarth (which features Ratik, Tenh, Medegia, the Aerdi etc. plus a bunch of original material).

Where exactly is this "Yarth" connection spelled out, if anyone knows? Book and page number would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I only found Oerth references in the first of the Sagard books and no mention of Yarth. If I've missed a reference please let me know.

Yarth was mentioned in LGJ#5 and Night Arrant.

Earth, Uerth, Yarth, Oerth, and Aerth were parallel worlds mentioned in "Why Gargoyles Don't Have Wings... but Should!" in Polyhedron #21, according to Roger E. Moore in his Rather Complete Greyhawk Index. The idea behind them is that some are more magical and others are more technological; the more of one, the less of the other.

The reference in Night Arrant is extremely brief.

"Do you hail from Yarth? Aerth?" the little fellow asked in a baerely restrained horrified tone.

and then Gord says, further down the page:

"The portals lead to parallel planes similar to our own - the Prime Material, as we call it on Oerth."

That's it exactly. Poly#21, the article by Gygax mentions:

"The hero of the saga is one Sagard... by the way, the action takes place on Yarth, a place somewhat similar to Oerth, the setting of Greyhawk, er. al. It has fewer magical properties than Oerth but more than Earth. It is not impossible that additional works will be contracted for in months to come, action being set on Yarth or perhaps another alternate world, Aerth. On Earth, magic is virtually non-existent. On Uerth, dweomers are weal, chancy things. Yarth has a sprinkling of things magical, Aerth is highly magical, and Oerth is pure magic."

Excellent! This is exactly what I was looking for! Many thanks! :D
