#1 zombiegleemax Jul 07, 2005 15:08:12	As I was talking about this I was informed that the Chromatic Dragons came from Metallic Dragons that were perverted by the Tak. Since the Nikel is the type that was perverted what would you think a Nikel would be like if they existed today? Id like to make them similiar to the Fang Dragons in the Draconomicon. Can any of you DL masters help me convert a Fang Dragon into a Nickel? Thanks

#3 zombiegleemax Jul 07, 2005 16:13:24	Well, as I understand in the beginning of Krynn Tahkisis (sp) corrupted metallic dragons to make her chromatic ones. Iron changed to red, and the other metals changed were zinc, nickel and tin (I beleave). So what id like to do is take a Fang Dragon and make a few subtle changes to make it fit more with a Nickel type of dragon. For instance change the con draining bite into a bite that does soemthing Nickel related,hehe. Ill change its look to smooth silvery/white scales with sharp edges and serrated tail. Im just not sure what else I should do. Thx
#4 zombiegleemax Jul 08, 2005 9:20:43	Krell? You have it mixed up. The chromatic dragons first created by Paladine, (Red, Blue, Green, Black, and White ) were tempted by Takhisis and fell. Paladine then got Reorx to forge metallike imitations(Brass, Bronze, Gold, Silver, and Copper. ) Paladine has a dragon form:The Platinum dragon. Takhisis has a dragon form too, in mockery of Paladine:The Dragon of All Colours and None Hope that clears things up.
#5 cam_banks Jul 08, 2005 9:24:05	One origin story does indeed have the first dragons to be created be metals: iron, nickel, tin, lead, and copper. All five were corrupted by Takhisis, becoming red, green, white, black, and blue, respectively. Paladine then created 5 more from purer metals, giving copper a second chance. Cheers, Cam

Should he just change into a good aligned green? Perhaps a Chaos Dragon brought about by Chaos's passing? Any suggestions most welcomed. Thx PS I do like the Fang Dragon if I could work it in well
#9 zombiegleemax Jul 08, 2005 23:33:25	Actually, Thrune, it specificaly says that the first dragons were metalic. Taky corrupted them into the chromatics. Then Paladine asked Reorx to make Dragons out of precious metal. That's the version given in the DLCS.
