If Weapons or Armor are created from other materials, then this will influence the item according the following table. This will not affect mismatch armor or Bone helmets.
AV= Armor Value= the amount of damage reduction (1 minimum passes through)as per DotE, or equal to AC lowering
@ = can’t be repaired, or can be repaired only by specialists in that material (often Magically)
No effect= the material does not change the common value of ths statistic as per item
na= not applicableI would now add the following on this table
Stone or crystal plated leather armor (As Obsidian, But Cost and weight only 250% normal)
Stone or crystal plated Chainmail armor (As Obsidian But cost and weight only 400% normal )
Gator Hide armor (Damage=na, AV3, Att=na, has strong scent even after drying, Cost 75%, Weight 150%)
Dinosaur leather armor (Damage=na, AV2 or 3, Att=na, has strong scent even after drying, Cost 65-260%, Weight 150-300%)
Crystal ((As Obsidian But cost and weight only 200% normal, chance of breaking on critical hitor massive stone/metal damage given or received (18, 19, 20--damage ovee 50hp in one stroke )
