Stefan Karameikos is assassinated, and after a succession crisis, Ludwig von Hendriks claims the Archduchy for himself, with Bargle serving as his chancellor. Karameikos is renamed Aquilonia.
Bargle later establishes the School of Magic in Krakatos, which obviously gives Glantrians a run for their money in creepiness.
During the invasion of Hule, Ludwig aligns himself with the Master, splitting the Five Shires between himself and his Azcan allies. Athenos falls and Darokin loses its access to the sea. Minrothad opportunistically begins to fill in this void in coastal commerce, becoming more influential.
