Mystaran Crystalline Dragons stand apart from other crystal dragons by dint of their size and toughness, but without the psionic abilities that usually typify gem dragons. Furthermore, their breath weapon functions as a magical effect while duplicating the effects of a White Dragon's breath.
At birth, Crystalline Dragons have white scales, glossy and opaque, resembling packed snow. Over time, the scales become more translucent. They are painful to behold in brighter light, but beautiful in soft lighting.
Combat
Breath Weapon (Su): A Crystalline Dragon's breath weapon functions as a Cone of Cold (as a White Dragons) but failure indicates not only full damage, but item saving throws for all equipment. It any given item fails, it is turned to crystal, with an 80% chance of breakage when used.
Cold Subtype (Ex): Cold immunity, double damage from fire based attacks on failed saves.
Spell-like abilities: 3/day -colour spray, hypnotic pattern, wind wall, and ice storm; 1/day -Otiluke's Freezing Sphere.
